prices to patients without health insurance, cash paying patients, and
insured patients with high deductibles.
Contracted providers meet all the required
licensing standards set forth
by the State of California for their profession.
Since all fees are significantly discounted,
patients are required to pay for the services, in advance, or at time
of service, to receive the discounted price. |
Our Motivation:
Under current
laboratory pricing models, the uninsured,
underinsured
and cash patients
pay
3 to 5 times more for the
exact same
test as large insurance
companies pay.
Insurance companies are able to negotiate lower fees through volume contracting.
That is great for the insurance company, but not for the uninsured or
underinsured patients. These are the people who can least afford to pay
a premium price.
